Follow the Step-by-Step Guide to enable miniOrange WP LDAP Login plugin for WordPress
Step 1: Download and install miniOrange WP LDAP Login plugin
From your WordPress dashboard
- Visit Plugins > Add New.
- Search for miniOrange. Install miniOrange WP LDAP Login.
- For publicly hosted WP sites, install miniOrange LDAP/AD Login for Cloud.
- For intranet WP sites, install miniOrange LDAP/AD Login for Intranet Sites.
- Activate miniOrange WP LDAP Login from your Plugins page
From WordPress.org
- Download miniOrange WP LDAP Login.
- For publicly hosted WP sites, download miniOrange LDAP/AD Login for Cloud.
- For intranet WP sites, download miniOrange LDAP/AD Login for Intranet Sites.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click on Upload Plugin and choose the downloaded plugin zip.
- Click on Install Now and activate miniOrange LDAP Login from your Plugins page
Step 2: Setup miniOrange WP LDAP Login plugin:
- Login to miniOrange to configure miniOrange Gateway.
- Once you are logged in, enter the LDAP Server URL, Service Account DN and Service Account Password. Click on Test Connection and Save.
- If connection is successful, you will be shown a User-Mapping screen. Enter the Distinguished Name Attribute(eg. distinguishedName), LDAP Search Base and LDAP Search filter for your LDAP implementation.
- Click on Save.
Step 3: Single Sign On to cloud app using LDAP credentials:
- Login to your miniOrange account.
- Go to Integrations->Custom App Integration from the menu.
- Copy the Customer Key, Customer API Key and Customer Token Key and click on Save.
- To add an app, create a link anywhere on your Wordpress site with the following URL: ##wordpress_site_url##/index.php?app_name=##APP_NAME## where APP_NAME corresponds to Application Provider Name of app in miniOrange.
