Configure Shopify Non-Plus Staff Users Onboarding

Step 1: Sign up with miniOrange CASB

• Click here to log into your miniOrange account.

Step 2: Choose Shopify App for Configuration

• After logging in, you should be taken to the miniOrange dashboard page. Click on the Shopify Edit App button.



• Click on Groups and verify your Group Name and Policy. Also you can add new Group by clicking on Add New Group button.



• Enter the Group Name and Group Description (It should be the same as the name of the group that you have configured in the IDP). Select the Group Policy from the drop-down menu and Click on Save button.



• Under User Configuration, select click on Add Group Details.
• Click on Group Name and select your configured user group.
• Enter the Shopify staff email and password for the user. Also you need to select the policy for user.
• Once you’ve onboarded all your users, click on Save Configuration to save your changes.

Step 3: miniOrange CASB Extension Installation Steps

• On your Chrome browser, Go to Manage Extensions.



• Enable Developer Mode as shown in below image.



• Click on the Load Unpacked Button in the top left corner of your browser window.
• Select the downloaded Extension folder.
• Enable the loaded Chrome extension.
• Click on miniOrange CASB.
• Select your OS type (eg. Windows) and click Next.



• You will be redirected to the miniOrange Secure Trust Certificate Installer. Download the MSI file.
• Once you’ve downloaded it, run the MSI file and install it.

NOTE: In case an alert message appears, click on More Info and then click on Run Anyway. Please wait for some time till the certificate installs successfully.



• Go back to your Chrome browser and click on the miniOrange extension.
• Click on the Hamburger Menu in the top left corner.



• Select the Applications Configurations.



• Enable the Shopify Non-Plus toggle ON. This will automatically enable Multi Staff and CASB on your Shopify account.
• You can manually disable the CASB solution as per your requirements.
• Also, You will have to select whether you want to configure this application for Single Sign On or Multi Staff.
• We offer you the option to add an SSO URL for your Shopify account. Once configured, click on Save button.



• Click on the Power Button to turn on the miniOrange secure channel.



• You have now successfully configured Shopify Non-Plus User Onboarding with miniOrange CASB.
