Release Summary

PAM 2.3.1 introduces key feature upgrades and critical bug fixes to enhance integration, usability, and overall stability. This release focuses on expanding Active Directory capabilities, improving session handling, enhancing password management notifications, strengthening Elasticsearch performance, and refining the user experience with updated UI components.

New Features & Enhancements:

Active Directory (AD) Integration

• User & Group Sync: Administrators can now import users and groups directly from AD (Previously, only machine import was supported.).

Web Application Management

• New Web App Agent (RDS) Introduced an advanced Web App Agent with better usability and a streamlined onboarding experience.
    Smarter Autofill: The agent now provides more intelligent autofilling for credentials and form fields, boosting user efficiency.
• Web Application UI Updates: Updated UI and flow in alignment with the new XecureAccess Agent for a modern and consistent user experience.

Resource Access & Connectivity

• Jump Server Integration: Added support for resource access via SSH Tunnel / Jump Host, enabling secure intermediary connections between users and target resources.
• Prompted Credential Access: Users can now manually input credentials during connection, providing flexibility alongside pre-configured dashboard credentials.

Authentication & Login Flow

• Relay State in Login Flow: The system now preserves the state of the current URL. After logging out, users return to the same page upon re-login for a seamless experience.

Notifications & Alerts

• Password Rotation Notifications: Administrators now receive email and dashboard notifications when password rotation occurs.

Elasticsearch Improvements

• Short Character Search Fix: Enhanced Elasticsearch handling to support searches with less than two characters.
• EPM Integration: Added full Elasticsearch support for EPM, improving endpoint privilege data indexing and search.
• Date-Based Sorting: Search results can now be sorted by date in descending order, making it easier to view the most recent records first.

Bug Fixes:

• Audit Microservice: Resolved DateTime mismatch issue for consistent audit log timestamps.
• UI Notification Overflow: Fixed text overflow issue in notifications panel, ensuring proper display across all screen resolutions.
• Database Commands Policy Section UI: Fixed UI issues in the Database Commands Policy Section for improved usability and layout.
