Version 4.0.0
[Release date: February 12, 2026]
MAG 4.0.0 is a major release focused on high availability, expanded protocol support, stronger authentication mechanisms, improved performance, and platform modernization for enterprise-scale deployments.
New Features/Integrations:
- High Availability (HA) Support: MAG now supports High Availability deployments using Hazelcast-based distributed session management. Authentication sessions are shared and synchronized across multiple MAG nodes, enabling active-active clustering.
This ensures seamless failover, improved reliability, and uninterrupted access even during node failures or maintenance activities.
- LDAP Proxy Integration with MFA and Certificate-Based Binding: MAG now supports LDAP and LDAPS protocols in addition to HTTP and HTTPS.
With the new LDAP Proxy integration, organizations can secure LDAP-based authentication flows by enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The LDAP Proxy supports MFA for both credential-based authentication and certificate-based LDAP binding.
This includes support for Google LDAP and Active Directory environments that use certificate-based binding, enabling secure LDAPS connections while preserving compatibility with existing LDAP applications. Legacy applications benefit from modern security controls without requiring any application-level changes.
- Performance Improvements: MAG 4.0.0 includes multiple performance optimizations across core components.
These improvements enhance request processing speed, system stability, and scalability, ensuring consistent performance under high load and in clustered deployments.
- Java Platform Upgrade: MAG now requires java 17. Java 11 is no longer supported.
