MAG 4.1.0 introduces major enhancements focused on LDAP Proxy scalability, expanded authentication capabilities, improved auditing, and performance optimizations for enterprise deployments.
- LDAP Proxy Multi-Domain Support: MAG now supports multi-domain configuration for LDAP Proxy deployments. Multiple Active Directory domains can be configured within a single LDAP Proxy server, allowing incoming authentication requests to be dynamically routed based on the domain.
This simplifies infrastructure management and improves scalability for enterprise environments with complex multi-domain architectures.
- LDAP Proxy to OAuth Authentication: LDAP Proxy now supports OAuth-based authentication by acting as a protocol broker between LDAP applications and OAuth authentication providers. This enables legacy LDAP applications to continue using LDAP while authentication is handled securely through OAuth providers such as miniOrange.
Organizations can modernize authentication without modifying existing applications.
- Multi-Scope Support in OAuth Authentication Provider: The OAuth Authentication Provider now supports multiple scopes. Previously, only the openid scope was supported. Administrators can now configure multiple scopes such as openid, profile, email, and custom scopes to retrieve richer user information and improve integration flexibility.
- LDAP Proxy Auditing Logs in UI: Comprehensive auditing for LDAP Proxy requests is now available directly within the MAG UI. Administrators can monitor LDAP requests, authentication activity, and operational events through centralized auditing logs, improving troubleshooting and visibility.
- Performance Improvements: MAG 4.1.0 includes multiple performance optimizations across core components.
These improvements enhance request processing speed, reduce latency, improve system stability, and ensure better scalability under enterprise workloads.
