Auto-Fetch LDAPS Certificates: The LDAP Gateway can now automatically fetch and trust certificates from your directory server, reducing the need for manual certificate imports. This helps keep secure directory connections running smoothly — including during routine certificate renewals — with zero downtime. Manual certificate upload remains available for organizations that prefer to manage certificates themselves.
Linux Package Support: The LDAP Gateway is now available as a native Linux package for Ubuntu/Debian (.deb) and RHEL/Rocky/Alma/CentOS (.rpm) systems. The package is self-contained — no system Java installation required. It includes systemd integration with auto-start on boot, and upgrades safely preserve existing configuration and JVM settings.
IMPROVEMENTS:
Dedicated Group Sync Search Filter: Administrators can now define a specific Group Search Filter to control exactly which groups get synced to miniOrange, avoiding unnecessary data imports. Note: The existing "Search filter" field in the UI has been renamed to "User Search Filter" to reduce confusion.
Username Alias Synchronization: User sync now supports fetching and updating username aliases from the LDAP Gateway to miniOrange. Once enabled, alias data can be optionally included in user sync.
Improved Phone Number Handling: Phone number sync from Active Directory is now more reliable. Missing or blank phone fields are automatically normalized using a default country code, preventing duplicate log entries and unintended data overwrites.
BUG FIXES:
Build Version Display Fix: The version number shown in the Admin Profile section now always reflects the currently running build, even after a gateway upgrade or server restart.
