Automation Test Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Tech degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering
Location: Baner, Pune
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and define test plans and strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
- Analyze software requirements and specifications to ensure testability and coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in the review and improvement of software development processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation testing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Cypress automation testing.
- Proficient in JavaScript and/or related frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools like QATouch, TestLink, etc.
- Ability to identify test cases for automation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to write manual test cases when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Jenkins).
