Automation Test Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Tech degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering
Location: Baner, Pune
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and define test plans and strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of software requirements and specifications to ensure testability and coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in the review and improvement of software development processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation testing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing in a software development environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in Cypress.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Good hands-on experience in JavaScript and/or related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of performance testing and load testing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure).
