Web Developer (Chrome/Firefox/Safari Extension)

Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in Browser Extension Development.
- At least 2+ years of experience with Frontend Design and Development including Browser Extension.
- Well versed in the latest trends in browser extension development like Manifest V.3 update and migration for Chrome, etc.
Qualification: B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Tech degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Location: Baner, Pune
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop browser extensions for popular web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers, to define extension features and functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement extension functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure high-quality extensions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest browser extension development trends and technologies.
- Optimize extensions for performance, security, and user experience.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Test and validate extensions across different browsers and platforms.
- Document code and technical specifications for future reference.
- Respond to user feedback and continuously improve the extension based on user needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
- Proficient in JavaScript (and/or other JS based frameworks like React, Angular, NextJS, Node, etc.), HTML, CSS, and browser extension APIs.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and standards.
- Knowledge of backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of browser compatibility issues.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices for browser extension development is a plus.
- Familiarity with build tools and automation processes.
