Job Description
Our rapidly growing company is looking for an experienced chartered accountant. The successful candidate will have great communications skills and a strong quantitative background, along with a proven track record of successfully handling accounts. The ideal candidate should be a team player, extremely organized and knowledgeable of taxation and compliances. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Taxation
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial results, budget, and quarterly forecasts,
and completion of the reporting requirements under strict deadline
- Perform detailed analysis of accounts and prepare month-end reports
- Key in entries and maintain the company's general ledger
- Prepare and file the necessary annual tax forms according to company and state policies
- Conduct a review of the monthly Business Activity Statements and balance sheet
reconciliations
- Responsible for payroll - salary calculation, compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Provide supervision of the annual internal and external audits
- Suggest modifications and improvements to existing processes and help in the evaluation of such changes
- Check the general ledger for errors and performed reconciliations
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication Skill
- Excellent Computer Knowledge
- Familiar with Tally 9
- Strong math and critical reasoning skills
- Strong organizational skills
Good to have:
- Experience working in an IT company.
