Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Set clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations for team members, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project delivery, while balancing competing priorities and managing risks.
- Drive the full software development lifecycle, from project planning and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and promote continuous improvement in software development practices.
- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues, troubleshoot complex problems and coordinate with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing within the team, encouraging professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, participating in interviews, and assessing candidates' technical skills and cultural fit.
Requirements:
- Experience writing high-quality code and developing scalable web applications.
- Flexibility to work across different languages and frameworks.
- Sense of ownership about the product.
- Highly organized and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, address quickly changing business requirements, quick learner, and a great team player.
- Good people management skills, a good listener, technical advisor, resolves obstacles systematically.
- Mentoring team or individuals for defining, and helping to achieve career goals.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Work closely with stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
