Password Filter

The Password Filter feature allows administrators to manage a list of disallowed passwords to enforce stronger password hygiene across the organization.

Key functions include:

  • Add to Blacklist:
Enter passwords you want to restrict and add them to the blacklist. Users will not be able to use these passwords during password creation or reset.
  • Remove from Blacklist:
Delete passwords from the blacklist if they are no longer considered insecure or restricted.
  • View Blacklisted Password Count:
Check the total number of passwords currently blacklisted in the system.
  • Check Password Status:
Use the interface to check whether a specific password is blacklisted or allowed.

This feature helps prevent the use of weak, common, or previously compromised passwords in Active Directory.
