Manage Shared Identity

With the miniOrange Shared Identity feature, a single user account of your application can be securely accessed by multiple people without sharing the actual credentials. Authorized shared users can access the applications assigned to that account only for those applications where the Shared Identity feature is enabled, while security controls and auditing remain intact. This feature is ideal for scenarios where teams need to use the same application account without exposing login details.

How to Configure Shared Identities

• Log in to miniOrange Admin console.
• Go to Users > Manage Shared Identity from the side menu.



• Select the User to be shared in this section.



• In the Users Not Shared table, select the required users.



• After selecting the users, click the Add button.
• The selected users will appear in the Associated Users table.
• Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Note: If you want to add all users at once, you can use the Add All button.



• Click the View Shared Identity option to view your configuration.



• If you wish to make any changes, click the Edit button.
• Update the configuration as needed.

How to Enable Shared Identity for a Specific Application

• Navigate to the Apps section.



• Select the required application. e.g., SAML, OAuth and JWT.




Note:

Shared Identity is currently supported for SAML, OAuth, and JWT applications. This option can be enabled from the Advanced tab for these applications.



• Go to the Advanced tab.



• Enable the Shared Identity option.
• Click on the Save.

How to Enable Shared Login for the End User Dashboard

• Go to the top-right corner, click Settings icon.



• On the Settings page, use the search bar to type shared.
• Click on Enable Shared User Login for End User Dashboard.



• Click the Save button in the top-right corner to apply the changes.
